  • Support the Client Engagement team in providing custom solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Deep understanding of SAP products and competencies related to UI development, workflows, BPM, datawarehousing, reporting and BASIS
  • Usage of non-SAP products and technologies in the areas of Portal, Data warehousing, ETL, Mobility, Integration middleware
  • Development experience using Microsoft tools and J2EE toolset/application servers
  • Deep understanding of the network components and network security
  • Business understanding of the supply chain and logistics processes
  • Improve information usefulness by tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements.
  • Actively participate in software development lifecycle in order to help identify opportunities for facilitating production support.
  • Document findings and develop policies for the purposes of handing off to Infrastructure Engineering for procedures and standards development.
  • Serve as the Operation’s liaison to the Enterprise Architecture team under the CIO.
  • Enhance overall team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answer technical and procedural questions for less-experienced team members; teach improved processes; mentor team members
  • Provide consultation and architectural reviews for key customers, both existing and new.
  • Provide overall technical leadership to cross functional groups within SD Operations in the application space.
  • Lead the development of the strategy for getting apps to a cloud based model.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of all major vendors products.
